Hi, I’m Jane, a long time private music instructor (since 1995!) with a passion for teaching new music learners. Helping private music instructors teach at their highest level is a privilege. Ossia is a musical term referring to when a composer will offer an easier way to play a difficult passage, typically for a young learner.  Ossia Music Studio seeks to help new music learners and new teachers in the same way.

For students, I offer private music lessons in my home studio using differentiated, individualized Instruction for each student. I welcome all ages and stages of learners! I have experience teaching students with Down’s Syndrome, Autism, and students with IEP’s; students as young as 3, and retirees who have always wanted to learn, or refresh those skills they learned in childhood.

For private music teachers, I offer workshops and low-cost coaching for new and experienced teachers as they build their studios, and I help them on their journey to become excellent teachers and entrepreneurs.
